The equipment specificity produced by “Arkada-Engineering” Ltd. implies that its transportation is realized by vehicles with high carrying capacity — cargo trucks or by railway. The conditions of equipment delivery are cleared up while concluding the treaty. To deliver its equipment to customers the company “Arkada-Engineering” uses the following delivery kinds:

EXW — EX Works

The delivery kind “EX Works” means that the seller is considered to have carried out his delivery duties when he gives the goods at the customer’s disposal at his enterprise or other determined place (e.g. plant, factory, warehouse etc.). The seller doesn’t assume the responsibility for goods loading to the vehicle and also for the custom clearance of goods for export.

This term implies that the seller assumes minimum responsibility. The customer is responsible for all expenses and risks connected with goods transportation from producing enterprise to the destination. Though if both sides wish the seller to take the responsibility for goods loading at the departure place and for risks and expenses of such dispatch this must be cleared up in the corresponding addition to the buying and selling treaty.

FCA — Free Carrier

The Free Carrier delivery kind means that the seller will deliver the goods that passed the custom clearance to the carrier mentioned by the customer to the indicated place. The choice of destination will influence the duties of goods loading and dispatching at this place. If the delivery is realized at the seller premises the seller is responsible for the loading. If the delivery is realized to other place the seller is not responsible for the loading.

This term can be used for any kind of transportation, including mixed transportations. The word “Carrier” signifies every person who according to the transportation treaty is obliged to carry out or to organize the goods transportation. If the customer entrusts to get the goods to some other person who is not the carrier the seller is considered to have carried out his delivery duties from the moment when he gives the goods to this person.

Transport type — any kind of transportation.

Delivery at frontier means that the company “Arkada-Engineering” is considered to have completed the delivery when it transported the goods (not yet unloaded) that had the custom clearance for export but not yet for import; the goods delivered by a vehicle were given to the customer at the determined point or at some place on a frontier until the goods are delivered to the customs frontier of some determined country. The term “frontier” stands for any frontier including the export country.

This term can be used for goods delivery by any kind of transport when the goods are delivered to the land frontier.
